Norse Bound

” The deep forests, the blue mountains, and the quiet closed-in valleys of Norway are possessed of a magical quality. Here is is not difficult to imagine strange creatures in the shapes of the mist on a bog, in the weathered stones, the straggly arms of a tree against the sky. And here, a long time ago, the people told tales of these strange creatures — trolls and water sprites, princesses and cinderlads, giant horses, talking cats, mountains made of glass.” East of the Sun and West of the Moon by Ingrid and Edgar Parin d’Aulaire

And that’s where we’re off to, and not only Norway but all the lands and seas that surround it. Today we fly to Amsterdam, beginning a month-long trek into the Laplands and the legendary north. Our final stop is Berlin, a rough and tumble city, and as diverse as you’ll find.

Thanks for joining us!
